Students from Murrumburrah High School have been taking part in Education Week activities this week, including a street stall in Harden on Tuesday, August 7.

The students decided that this year all money raised would go to the Drought Relief fund, instead of to the High School, which is their usual custom.
“The kids are concerned about farmers in other areas,” teacher Jan Young said.
“They decided to have a ‘Buy a Bale’ guessing competition, where people have to guess the weight of our steer ‘Pothole’, so named by the kids because he will not move.”
“The street stall was a great idea, because it allowed the kids to build community connections.”
“They had baked cookies, and offered tea and coffee to visitors to the stall.” Ms Young said
“They had artwork on display as well as some pretty impressive wood work and metal work items.”
