President Robyn Apps gave the yearly report and thanked the committee for their understanding while she is settling into her new role.
“We currently have 18 very hardworking volunteers who give their all to raise funds for our small hospital.” Mrs Apps said.
“Our coffee mornings are always a great success and our other fundraising activities have included street raffles, plant sales and the catering of local functions. I can proudly say that every cent of the money we raise with the help of our community, is donated to the Murrumburrah Harden Hospital.”
State President and Zone Representative for the Hospital Auxiliaries, Mrs Linda Swales attended the AGM and presented several volunteers with their Long Service badges. These ladies included Carmel Brown, who received her 40 year badge; June Spencer, who was unable to attend, received her 20 year badge; Lyn Webb, Elaine Heycox and Theresa Schofield all received their 10 year badges.
