NSW TrainLink will trial an additional daily bus service from Young to Cootamundra beginning on Sunday 17 June.

Daily services will depart Young at 1:45pm. For passengers travelling the opposite direction, services will depart 12:55pm from Cootamundra.
It is intended to reduce wait times to 15 minutes when transferring between coach and train services.
Hilltops Mayor Brian Ingram is hoping community support for the trial will see the service become permanent.
“This daily service will help link our regional community to major capitals such as Sydney and Melbourne and make the offerings of the city much more accessible to our residents,” Mayor Ingram said.
The trial coach service will operate in addition to the existing coach services connecting the XPT to and from Melbourne.
Fares will be consistent with existing services, with bookings to be made online, over the phone, or at NSW TrainLink sales outlets.
