THERE were 10 very excited under eight girls eager to show off their skills on the field and across the two games the experienced Monica Taylor scored seven tries and Kirsten Piper, two. Ivy Taylor copied in her cousin’s foot steps and scored a try in the second game. Brooke Douglas proved she had a good boot with a conversion.

There was some fantastic tagging from Mackenzie Hambrook and Imogen Smith. With some guidance from her team mates Imogen Steele played the Dummy Half role well.
Grace Card covered the field well in attack, only narrowly missing out on a try. Tilly O’Connor, Mila Patyuk, Jaylea Drew backed up well and will be looking for more tags next game.
Under 10’s BushHawks went down to a very fast and well-drilled Temora team on the weekend. The girls played well but were up against some tough competition.
Mylee Taylor, scored the BushHawks only try of the day, Katelyn McMillan took her captaincy in her stride, Dea Hirsch came along in leaps and bounds across the two games Carrie Smith had a sensational game, making some crucial, try saving tags.
OTHER RESULTS: Under 10s lost 52-16; 11s won 38-14; 12s lost 28-8; 12s Tag won 8-0; 14s Tag lost 38-8; 16s Tag lost 26-8.
