Our guest speaker was Rita O’Connor, who is well-known as a Hilltops councillor, Rotarian and teacher. Rita spoke about the empowerment and education of women.
VIEW stands for the Voice, Interests and Education of Women and is one of Australia’s leading women’s volunteer organisations that supports the education of disadvantaged children through The Smith Family.
Next month marks the club’s 40th birthday and we will be marking this occasion with a birthday party to be held at the Harden Country Club on Thursday, June 14.
