Coming off a solid performance last week the team was looking forward to turning the tables on Cootamundra after receiving a few hidings from them last year.
In what turned out to be a free flowing game the Devils ran out strong winners, 53-5.
The game started out very close with both packs competing strongly but the class of the Harden backline was just too much.
Try of the game came when deep in their own half, Shahid Khalfan threw an inside ball to Jack O’Connor who split the defence, drew the fullback and put Ben Lenehan over under the posts.
Jessy Redman is making the fullback position his own and is gaining confidence every game.
Chiming into the back line Jessy then chip the ball over the defence, regather and score.
The addition of Dan Pribula at tight head had immediate impact.
The scrum competed strongly, securing their own ball and managing to steal a few of Cootamundra’s feeds.
Jack Alcorn bolstered the line out and was everywhere in the paddock, managing to cross for a try late in the second half.
Fergus Hall, sporting a man bun that most people couldn’t and wouldn’t wear with confidence, finished off a nice pick and drive by the forwards, with a strong run to cross over out wide.
Adam Walsh celebrated the birth of his latest child with a double and clearly revelled in the on-paddock banter with the opposition – though they didn’t.
With his coach’s hat on, Adam was very happy with the performance.
“The commitment to defence is what I am really pleased with,” Walsh said.
“Their only try came from an intercept pass thrown by Flannery.
“The forwards worked hard all day and rotated the bench well,” he said.
Other tries went to Ben Brady, Shahid Khalfan and Jack O’Connor.
The 3, 2, 1 points went to Ben Lenehan, Ben Brady and Jessy Redman respectively.

The players player was Jimmy “Moose” Honour.
The referees’ points went to Ben Brady, Jessy Redman and Bob Scott.
The club would like to thank Andrew Kennett who debuted as referee on Saturday.
Club president Harry Sachs said, “As a club we are required to provide a referee and to have someone put their hand up and help us out like Andrew has done is great. We have struggled with this in the past. He let the play flow which is good for everyone including the spectators.”
Harden are up against the Condobolin side this Saturday.
