In a club stableford competition on Easter Saturday, a solid field faced the starter in near perfect golfing weather.
It was to be like no other ordinary week for young Tam Kennedy, playing a mammoth seven shots under his handicap.
Kennedy has played like a single figure A Grader to street the field.
His 43 stableford point round placed him three shots ahead of his nearest rival, the in form Matt Peisley, who had 40 points.
Kennedy claimed the day’s goodies as his prize.
Peisley as stated, led off the ball comp with his 40 points, with further points being awarded to Tim Beveridge, Robert Bates, and Kevin Hoppe, all in a gaggle on 38 stableford points.
It was to be like no other ordinary week for young Tam Kennedy, playing a mammoth seven shots under his handicap.
Our nearest the pin in the Bendigo Bank Hole in One weekly competition, went to Darrell Cassidy who dropped one in to a poompteenth over three metres.
No doubt with Kennedy’s litany of ordinary rounds over the last 12 months, this near perfect round will bight him hard in the deduction stakes.

BOB Martin has been sneaking into the podium finishes of late and it does not seem too long ago he was the headline act. Well, he has done it again.
In obviously a week of it, big winners scores have been the theme and Martin did his best to not be left out in this count. He has recorded 33 points in the par 24 stableford point – 12 hole format.
This equates to playing at least nine shots better than his handicap.
The worst part for Martin (best for the field I suppose), is that all of those nine shots have come off his weekly handicap. He will resume duties on only eight as his deduction number. Well earned Bob.
Only six points behind (only!), was David James on 27 points in second place.
Third place honours were shared between June Spencer and Alan Hill on par rounds of 24 points.
