As the Easter holidays are fast approaching we would like to ask that all road users slow down, not text and be aware of what is happening around them on the roads.

Road users also need to be aware of the emergency services that might be on the road over this holiday break helping those in need.
When the emergency services are responding to an emergency situation many drivers do not understand what to do.
Please be considerate and move when safe to do so to your left, to let the emergency service responding pass, then move safely back into the flow of traffic.
In doing this you will not be hindering a person/s needing the assistance of the emergency services, if we have to slow down in traffic it does delay us getting to the patient/s and giving lifesaving treatment/ assistance.
It can also mean the difference between life and death.
The NSW VRA (Volunteer Rescue Association) Binalong Rescue Squad will have the Bookham Driver Reviver open over the Easter holiday period.
This Driver Reviver Site has been operating for over 25 years and is still going strong.
The NSW VRA members and auxiliary members from both Binalong and Bookham would love to see you stop in for a cuppa and chat.
Members prefer to meet you having a break with us than out on the roads involved in an accident. It is better to arrive late than not at all.
The NSW VRA Members wish you all a happy and safe Easter holiday weekend. Thank you for your kind consideration, stay and travel safely over this Easter break.
