The 2018 SWSSA season is little more than a month away, and the local Harden Soccer Club would like to remind players and parents that they would like to wrap up player registrations on April 3. SWSSA age groups and teams will be finalised on this day, and the club need to have numbers finalised prior to this meeting, giving players less than a week to register to play.

Club President, Greg Brown, said that although registration numbers were good at this stage, he encourages anyone yet to do so, to register sooner rather than later, and avoid the last minute rush and confusion. Player registration is done through the myfootballclub web site and parents and guardians are encouraged to use their active kids voucher, which fully covers the cost of registration. Links to both myfootballclub and active kids vouchers can be found on the Harden Soccer Club facebook page.
The club would still like to hear from anyone interested in coaching a team, in any age group this year. Speaking from experience, Greg said that coaching "can be challenging, but is as enjoyable as you want to make it", and reminds anyone considering the role, that there is plenty of support, from the SWSSA development officer, local training courses, and Football NSW resources.
For more information on registrations, the SWSSA competition, coaching, or any other enquiries, please contact President, Greg Brown on 0408 229 250, or Registrar Allison Manwaring on 0429 193 453, and keep up to date with the club by keeping an eye on the Harden Soccer Club facebook page.
