Ev Shea went straight to work and cleaned up with a very tidy round five under her handicap with 85 off the stick and 69 nett.
Shea claimed the first medal, Pat’s Trophy and also the putting with a phenomenal 24 putts.
Champion stuff from a lady who now will be playing off her lowest ever handicap at her next outing, a mere 15.
Runner-up was Toni Filmer still trying to tame her new sticks, yet did just enough to beat her handicap by one shot with a 95 for a 73 nett.
Nearest the Pin on the Bendigo Bank Hole in One Hole went to Jeanette Elliott.

SOME normality returned to this week’s midweek comp with scores not breaking 30 stableford points in the 12-hole, 24-point stableford layout competition.
Best by far amongst the gang was Jim Wright who waltzed away with the goodies this week having a score of 29 points, playing five better than his handicap.
All five shots have now been deducted and Jim returns this week on a still generous deductor of 20.
Bob Kerr and Peter Steinke claimed second place, three points back on 26.
Fourth was claimed by Wright’s shadow on 25 points proving this was always going to be Wright’s week.
The random lucky ball countback handout gizmo this week went to Ron Fuller Snr.

THIS WEEK: sees a slight break in pattern to help support the Harden Rugby Club. Saturday will see a two-person Ambrose Fun Day with time sheets at the bar. Do not forget to book in because if you turn up like normal, you may be disappointed with a full course already.
