The Hornets won by 41 runs after setting a big total.
Despite drink breaks every 15 overs due to hot conditions at Tim Doolan Oval, they weren’t troubled by the Bulls.
Kai Steele stepped in as captain for the game and after winning the toss, elected to bat.
The Hornets set a solid 170 to chase, thanks to Steele opening with 39 runs and Daniel Pumpa scoring 38.
“It all clicked together for us,” Steele said.
“We were always in control of the match once we set our total,” he said.
The Hornets restricted the Bulls to 129 as Pumpa also starred with the ball, taking three wickets.
Round 11 games of the Sweeney Cup will return on January 13 next year, with the draw still to be confirmed.
The finals to be played in O’Connor Park in Yass in March.
