Dramatic Minds Short Play Festival at Young Town Hall. High schools from Young, Harden & Cootamundra come together to perform plays and musical entertainment aimed at reducing the stigma of mental illness. (As part of the festival, Year 9 students are required to research, write and perform a play on a mental health topic.) Tickets at $5 per person are available at Young Town Hall, M & M's, Art of Espresso, S&AJ, Come Alive Fitness Centre and Hard Rock Gym. Contact 0402 227 632.
MONDAY, AUGUST 7
3.30pm: Narnia Kids Club: meets fortnightly at the Anglican Parish Hall in Albury Street, Murrumburrah. Kids aged from five to 12 meet from 3.30pm to 5pm for an afternoon of games, craft and song. Afternoon tea is provided, cost is a gold coin donation.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 8

1pm: The Senior Citizens cards afternoons will continue each Thursday at the Harden Library until further notice. Meetings will be held every second Thursday of the month at the library until further notice. Luncheons have been cancelled until further notice. More: Gabriella: 0413 930 321.

9am: The Riverside Markets in the beautiful village of Jugiong. Held outside of the Long Track Pantry and Jugiong Wine Cellar until 2pm, the markets are a great way to showcase local talent and produce.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 26
8am: Harden Murrumburrah Twin Towns Rodeo Assocation Team Penning fundraiser event at Harden Racecourse. Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 5pm, aa spectacular spectator event with skilled riders on horseback herding cattle into pens. Contact Rodney Cooper 0407 067 894.

10am: South West Merino Breeders Field Day at Harden showground. Entry from the North and Woolrych streets from 10am.
