Harden fire station will be open from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm and families are encouraged to come along and meet their local firefighters and learn more about fire prevention.
Harden FRNSW Captain Wal Leonow said a range of free activities will be on offer, including firefighting demonstrations, station tours and fire safety presentations.
“Kids will be able to see the fire engines and firefighting equipment up close, including a kids hands-on fire hose demonstration – always a highlight of the day. Captain Leonow said “There will be a Sausage Sizzle available, advice for the elderly on fire protection and lots for everyone in the family.”
“For anyone who has been thinking about joining FRNSW, there will be someone available to chat to.” he said.
