On Sunday, April 9, police reported they stopped a 17-year-old male from Gurrundah who was driving on Rugby Road, Boorowa for a Random Breath Test.

When the vehicle was stopped it was discovered that rear nearside tyre was missing. The driver stated he had left Taralga earlier that day, and had been forced to drive on the rim after the tyre blew out, and he did not have a spare.
He was issued a defect notice for this and a number of other issues with the vehicle. Police drove him into town to organise repairs.
Police are seeking assistance from the public after a number of shops were broken into in Pudman St, Boorowa between 6pm, Thursday, April 6 and 6am Friday, April 7, where small amounts of cash and property were stolen.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen any suspicious person, vehicle or activity in or near Boorowa at that time to contact the Boorowa Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
