MIDWEEK
OUR VERY own Grahame Taylor has stepped to the mark this week as chief burglar.
Amongst earnest company, the midweekers all strive for the win, playing chess with their rapidly growing Galloway Handicapped subtractors as to when they strike.
Grahame has presented to the judge with a marvellous round of 31 stableford points – seven better than his handicap on the 12 hole par 24 layout.
Grahame now gets to surrender his well manicured handicap as it has now had seven whole shots lopped off it and he will resume battle with a paltry 11.5 next week.
A mere one point/stroke back were the next threebiggest burglars in the field all smiling like Cheshire Cats to get t
heir 0.5 shot back depite knocking out rounds 6 better than their rapidly growing handicaps.
These three included Bill Kildea, Jim Wright and Garth Webb all on 30 points.
I Look forward to who will be our victor next week.
THIS WEEK
THE Ladies and Gents will both be playing a mixed medley individual stableford for the Greenkeepers’ Revenge sponsored by Scott Fogg of Living Turf Management.
Once again I remind you that Summer Comp is only a month away starting November 17.
