The Peter Davis Memorial Golf Day had a good turnout last Saturday with some great results and some much needed funds raised for the Starlight Foundation, who grant wishes for sick kids.

The Nett winners on the day were Brett Johnson and Damien Kemp on 61, with the runners-up being Tim and Craig Davis on 64 ¼. Robert Bates and Darrell Cassidy on 68 took out the Scratch prize, with David James and Simon Oakes on .69.

The Bradman’s Award went to Kris Davis and his beautiful girlfriend, Emma Haggerty. Longest drive for the men was taken out by Graham Martin Dye; and for the ladies event, Karen Head took the prize.

The Nearest the pin prizes were taken out by Damiien Kemp on the tenth hole and Herby Manwaring on the sixth.

The $100 lucky door prize was won by Graham Marin Dye and Scott Chesworth, but the graciously donated the prize money back to the Starlight Foundation.

Thanks must go again to the sponsors of the event: Paul Shea for his ongoing support, Delta Ag, Thompson’s Rural and Darrell Cassidy for donating the wonderful prizes.

This week: OUR lads will be playing for their October Monthly Medal courtesy of Fullers Taxi Trucks who have been great supporters of Harden golf over the years. The ladies will be playing an individual stableford for the club’s trophy.
