Murrumburrah High School students Tom Leonow and Megan Sharman were relieved to finish school, but admitted the looming exams were a bit stressful.
“I’m happy I’ve finally finished,” Tom said.
“But I’m not happy about the exams coming up. I don’t think I’ve studied hard enough.”
Both students intended to take a “gap year” in 2018, with Tom looking to pitch in around the farm while Megan looked further afield.
“I want to spend six months in the UK as a nanny,” she said.
“I want to travel and I love kids so this would be a good way to do it.
“I ultimately want to do biotechnology research, but I want this experience too.”
