The station is expected to become fully operational this year.
The facility is part of the state government’s $122 million Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) program.
The RAIR program currently includes 22 locations across the state that will benefit from an upgraded, rebuilt or entirely new ambulance station.
Nationals candidate for Cootamundra Steph Cooke was joined by Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW John Barilaro as well as Member of the Legislative Council Wes Fang last Friday to announce the completed works.
Ms Cooke said the station was designed with input from local paramedics
“For people living in these communities, projects like this mean so much, and give families peace of mind when it comes to their health,” Ms Cooke said.
“The stations are purpose-built, and will support the clinical capability of our highly-trained paramedics.”
