There were three local schools in the competition - Murrumburrah Public School, Trinity Catholic School and Bunyip Pre-school.
The competition was sponsored by Graincorp and judged by Graincorp Cunnigar Area Manager, Tim McColl.
There were three categories for judging - recycled materials, entry being colourful/fun and incentives for the judge.
Mr McColl reported being blown away by the entries and accompanying ‘incentives’.
He had expected to see an entry and perhaps a staff member and student to explain them, not the wonderful whole school turn out of each.
Given a tough job, Mr McColl noted all entrants had their particular area of strength in the judging categories
First place was awarded to Murrumburrah Public with Bunyip Preschool second and Trinity third.
