Due to a few bowlers being unavailable, the Club Fours Championship matches set down for last weekend were not played. These matches are now listed for Sunday and the players are expected to do the right thing and turn up to get them played. The matches listed are as follows:
Craig Phillis, Chris Hocking, Mick Patterson and Brayden Jurd v Graham Murray, John Curtis, Brian Gibson and Maurice Muller.
Terry Ricketts, Alan Tobin, Jake Fisher and Tom Hawkins v Shane McKellar, Peter Burns, Tony Zervos and Terry Hocking.
Tom Apps, Warren Chesworth, Reuben Rycroft and Cary Peters v Tony Fisher, Barney Heywood, Doug Hawkins and John Baker.
Mufti Bowls Sunday morning
Craig Cooper, Brian Gibson and Warwick Prosser defeated Shane McKellar, Tony Zervos and Brayden Jurd, with a score of 24 to 2. Craig, Brian and Warwick won the chooks.
Mufti Bowls Sunday afternoon
Brian Gibson and Tony Zervos defeated Terry Ricketts and Brayden Jurd with a score of 13 to 12.
Quandialla President’s Day
Tom Apps, Rod James, Jesse James and Doug Hawkins represented the club at the Quandialla President’s Day last Sunday. The team played well to win both of their games, but were beated by one point for the money.
Ladies Bowls
Jenny Ricketts, Chris Hancock and Dianne Debritt represented the club at the Cootamundra Country Club’s President’s Day last Thursday. They played well and enjoyed the day, but no prizes.
Robyn Apps also attended in her position of South West District President and had Mona Perry from Cootamundra Country Club and Aileen Glover from Binalong on her team. They also played well, but also missed out on any prizes.
Jenny Ricketts, Robyn Apps and Chris Hancock travelled to Yass last weekend for their two day Triples Tournament. The ladies played week and had a great time, but no prize money.
