Live counting and progressive first preference results will be available on the NSW Electoral Commission’s (NSWEC) website (www.votensw.info) from 6pm election night (Saturday, September 9).
The NSWEC has advised that the counting of postal and declaration votes will continue into next week.
Once the counting is complete, the NSWEC will advise the candidates, us here at council, and the media of a date and time for the formal declaration of who has been elected to represent the community on Hilltops Council.
Pre-poll voting is available up until Friday evening (times vary so check www.votensw.info for details), and if you’re going to vote on the day, polling places open from 8am to 6pm.
Again, check the NSWEC website for polling locations in the region.
