Rod James and David Bodell are the 2017 Club Pairs Champions after their easy win over Craig Phillis and Chris Hocking in the final played last Sunday.
Rod and David were at their brilliant best, racing away to an early lead of 10 to 0, which made it very difficult for Craig and Chris to get back into the game, being so far behind.
They battled on, but were unable to put any pressure on Rod and David, who on the day proved much too classy and experienced for Craig and Chris. Rod and David took the championship with a final score of 24 to 10.
