It did not take much for the others to accelerate and make the most of it. Our local committee men took the lead and the handicap division was quickly snapped up by Kevin Hoppe and Ron Page with a very health 46. Runners up to Darrell Cassidy and Robert Bates with 43.
In the Scratch Division, regular attendees to this tournament from Young in Geoff Walker and Darryl Brown put together a very solid round of 36 stableford points. Nobody was within cooee of these two when handicaps are discounted and playing off the stick matters.
In the Mixed/Medley Division Jeanette Elliott has picked up in form son-in-law Jamie Cantrill and wiped the floor with the field. Jeanette and Jamie have recorded a tally of 46 stableford points to claim the prize. Runners up were Craig and Toni Filmer who had 44.
