Under 9s girls were far to good for the Bush Hawks with the first game a draw and the second a non-contest with the Bulldogs scoring at will. Once again the girls who showed leadership and maturity were rewarded with tries, goals and the captaincy.
The referees commented on both under 11 sides being quite evenly matched and making the most of their time with the ball. The girls played a very strong defensive game and came away with the win 14-8. Try scorers: Hayley Hambrook, 2 and 1, and a conversion to Bonnie Abnett.
Under 13s league tag girls play against our ladder leaders, Bulldogs. The first half was a nail biter and in the last minute Clare Flick had the runaway try.
