Wired Open Labs Workshops were held at the old Courthouse in Murrumburrah on the weekend with Botanical Art on Saturday and Animal ‘Pet’ Portraiture on Sunday.

Sessions were instructed by Melbourne Illustrator Jessie Ford and were well attended with participants coming from Cootamundra, Stockinbingal, Muttama, Jugiong and Coolac.

The Animal ‘Pet’ Portraiture attendees learned a range of skills including drawing material selection and use, drawing techniques, translating photos to images, observing tonal values using pencil and a basic understanding of animal anatomy.
