Children from Jugiong Public School entertained the crowd with a stirring rendition of the Anzac version of “I am Australian” especially written for Anzac Day by Bruce Woodley of ‘The Seekers’ fame. Tilly Coggan and Regan Manton read a postcard they had written from from a soldier in Gallipoli
Master of Ceremonies, Paula Butt was thrilled with the ceremony.
“Jugiong is such a beautiful community, and it pulls together for an event like Anzac Day’ Mrs Butt said.”I would like to thank the Harden Murrumburrah and Gundagai Lighthorse for their effort – for some of them Jugiong was their 5th ceremony for the day, and it was bugler Hayden Dalton’s 5th ceremony also.
