The rules are a little different to the games we see regularly on TV, for instance there are no scrums, the game is played on a 20m x 40m field, there are 4 sets of 8 minute quarters and most importantly, there are no scores kept. These games are all about learning to play by the rules and having fun.
There were a few errors made in the first game, like running toward the wrong goal, and not waiting for the ref to blow the whistle before the ball was kicked, but a few valuable lessons in sportsmanship were also learned on the day, along with where to hang a mouth guard between quarters.
