Locals losing their locks
There are two very brave young men in Harden Murrumburrah, who have been growing their hair for the past year and are now willing to sacrifice their gorgeous locks to raise money for Harden Can Assist. Tom Pellow and Jacob Prosser might even be happy to have their hair shaved with this heat! Please come along on Saturday, February 25 to the Lighthorse Hotel at 7.30 pm.
Tom and Jacob will auction off the rights to a lucky bidder who will have the honour of cutting their hair and there will also be memorabilia up for bid. This is not a night to be missed, so come along and join in the fun!
Save the Date
On Saturday, May 20, Harden Can Assist will play host to Gail O’Brien, wife of the late Professor Chris O’Brien, who will be speaking at a Dinner to be held at the Harden Country Club. Mrs O’Brien has played an instrumental role in supporting her late husband’s vision for Australia to have it’s own world class cancer care facility. There is more entertainment on the night, so stay tuned for more information!
Congratulations
Harden Can Assist would like to take this opportunity to offer congratulations to Sue McCarthy on receiving Harden’s Citizen of the Year award at our Australia Day celebrations. Recognition well deserved!
Can Assist will hold our next meeting on Wednesday, March 1, 7 at the Kruger Medical Centre. Everyone is welcome!
You will never walk alone.
