The Jugiong family chose to donate the 15-year-old’s organs after his tragic death following an on-field rugby league accident last year.
Mother Jenny Polimeni shared stories of letters from the organ recipients on The Herd of Hope Facebook page on Tuesday, with more than 3500 likes.
She received letters from the parents of a baby, a young man who received his lungs and a mother of three boys who received his heart.
The Herd of Hope is a cattle event which aims to raise awareness for organ donation in Australia.
In honour of Lui, a cow will be named number 13, his rugby league number.
Founder Megan McLoughlin said she was privileged to speak to Ms Polimeni and to share her story.
“Lui’s story has been amazing, it is all about honouring our heroes,” Ms McLoughlin said.
