Elections
This week, six very nervous but excited year 5 students, proud parents, teachers and students gathered in the hall to listen to the students give their speeches about why they should be elected as school captains for 2017. The speeches were heartfelt and impressed everyone.
All six of the students are worthy of being elected as captains and whatever the outcome, we know that our leadership team will be a strong one. Well done, you are such confident worthy young people.
Camp time
It’s nearly here – three days of fun and frivolity for years 3 to 6 at Borambola. We’ll be kayaking, indoor rock climbing, building rafts and (I can hardly curb my excitement!) riding on a flying fox amongst other activities. It will be an incredible experience for the children although I suspect that maybe watching their teachers squeal with fear will be even more fun for them.
