The Boorowa / Harden Brown Farming, Piesley transport and Coopers Butchery U/13’s travelled to Cootamundra on the weekend to take on the Wagga Kangaroos. Our boys got off to a flying start to lead 4-0 with a try to Joie Whybrow, but some mistakes and lack of concentration let the Roos back in, with 2 tries 10-4 down.

Front rowers Ben Klose and Brendan Welch got us in front, allowing Matt Canellis to weave a path through the defence to set up a try for Anthony Brown. Another quick try before the break by Joie Whybrow put us back in the lead at the break 14-10.
The second half defence was led by Cooper Cross, Jai Allison, James Collins, Brendan Welch and Ben Hambrook. The whole team played well, defence being the standout, as they were up against a much larger team. Two wonderful tries to Joie Whybrow put the result beyond doubt!! the Roos posted a late try, but the final score was 26-16.
