Two programs are available, one for small projects that build more vibrant, sustainable and inclusive communities and a second program aimed at major projects which prioritise infrastructure and services delivering economic and social benefits.
If you missed the presentations delivered by Wendy Tuckerman this week, you can access the grant information at www.strongercouncils.nsw.gov.au.
The HRDC is attempting to provide Grants Writing Training, giving members of the regional community from all towns and villages the opportunity to develop solid understandings and skills and/or sharpen existing skills to ensure that grant applications are expertly constructed, logical and succinct, providing the best opportunity for success.
The workshop will be delivered through Write Outcomes, by Mark Horton, who has 30+ years experience.
Mark’s position entails consulting and writing grants as well as assessing grants for government and non-government bodies, so he is strategically positioned to deliver cutting edge information in grant writing.
The course will be heavily subsidised, reducing the costs to participants to a more than reasonable $20 per person. All welcome.
The proposed Grant Writing Training will be held Monday August 1 st at 9am at Harden Country Club at a cost of $20 per participant. Lunch and morning tea provided.
The grant has a very short timeframe of slightly less than a month.
Grant preparation and writing is a consuming task, so please take up this wonderful, timely opportunity to increase your projects chances of success.
Employers are encouraged to support staff wishing to participate in this skill building program, greatly assisting the community in submitting applications which will benefit the community.
HRDC will confirm the grants writing training dependant on interested registered individuals and undertake to provide hands on support, during the weeks leading up to the application deadline.
A schedule of times for this consultation process and confirmation of the training going ahead will be advertised in this paper next week.
