Mr Dale Ashton, President of the Harden Poultry Club, was pleased with the event and the attendance.
“We had 550 entries this year, from all over NSW” said Mr Ashton. “A very successful day.”
The pecking order is as follows:
Grand Champion of Show was awarded to John Lawler from Orange for his female Pit Game.
Reserve Champion was awarded to Margaret Day from Queanbeyan for her Indian Runner Duck. Margaret was also awarded the Harden Newsagency Trophy for the Best Lady Exhibiter.
Rare Breed Champion was awarded to Peter Shands from Canberra for his Campines, a rare breed from Belgium.
