Crafted to reflect the character of the combined region, the new logo aims to becommunicative and contemporary within a simplistic style.
Council Administrator, Wendy Tuckerman, said the design was developed expeditiously in the week immediately following the New South Wales Government’s proclamation of amalgamation.
“One of the priorities that the new council had from day one was the development of a distinctive logo. It is an important element in establishing a unique signature for Hilltops Council’s communications and in forming its own visual identity. Now that we have adopted a design, it is being progressively translated across a wide number of applications from letterheads to signage,” Wendy Tuckerman said.
The new Hilltops Council brand mark has been created capturing the primary aspects of the region’s landscape – green shoots, golden harvests, blue horizons with cherry-red type.
It is also a reminder of our beautiful environment that is emblematic innative creatures such as the superb parrot. The design also elicits a sense ofelevation and aspiration. The three-tops bonding is designed to evoke a sense ofunity and strength.
The brand mark is accompanied with a new corporate theme summarizing the manypositive community benefits of amalgamation – Stronger Together, Better Together.
“This theme characterizes the essence of the merger for our combined community and will be carried in all communications during the establishment phase of the new council,” Administrator Tuckerman added.
