The Boorowa / Harden Twin Town Times U/6’s lost their two games on Saturday (6 tries – 3 tries and 6-5)and were well served by Billy, Pheonix, Lachlan and Mackenzie, while Shannon and Brooke had their best game of the year. Billy, Ethan, Charlie and Justin all crossed for Harden tries.
The Harden Steggles U/7’s returned to the winning list beating Temora 6 tries to 1 with Riley, Archie, Angus and Landon leading the way in defence. Jacob made great metreage with the ball and Will’s passing was a feature. Dan, Declan and Riley each scored a pair of tries.
The Harden Tyre Service U/8’s arrived with just three players and ended up going down 1-8. The whole 7’s team doubled up to fill the void and they were magnificent. The two smiling assassins Will James and Landon Vasquez were good as was Archie Quinn, Jacob Gledhill and newcomer Riley Jackson. Dan Minehan (one try) continued to show consistent form, Aleks Cummins used his size to great effect. Will Rigg gave great service with the ball and Thomas Woodhead joined forces with Declan Kerrison in making plenty of crunching cover tackles.
It was a tough day for the Harden Delta U/10’s who went down 30-0 against a big mobile Temora side, which scored some early tries. Harden showed plenty of courage.
