The march was led by the 7th Light Horse - Gundagai Troop on horseback, who provided a snapshot of the significance played by horses during many conflicts.
Harden mayor John Horton was on hand to deliver the Anzac address, paying special tribute to his uncles who served on the Western Front and his father, who was on board an aircraft carrier involved in the Korean war.
“These men are gone but their legend, their spirit and in particular the spirit of Anzac lives on,” Mr Horton said.
With the Light Horse Troop in attendance, Mr Horton harked back to the 130,000 Australian horses which have been involved in war.
Village residents and students of Jugiong Public School played a significant role in the commemoration service.
