The Harden Steggles U/7’s had a great 6-2 win against Boorowa. Dan was super impressive, volunteering to make up the numbers for the Rovers, while Archie, Will, Angus and Jacob once again showed great concentration in the middle. Lewis (one try) led the way in both defence and attack.

Despite starting slowly, the young Hawks all showed improvement from last week and never gave up all game.
Ty Leitner scored two long range tries, while Lachlan Campbell cleverly made his way to also score a try, which he then converted.
Hunter Minson and Oliver Minehan led the team well in attack from dummy half and first receiver and the two John’s, Drew and Barnes, applied some good legs tackles. Brody Schofield chased hard and saved a couple of would be tries.
Oscar Phillis and Angus Woodhead chased hard from marker and Brody Steele with his turn of speed proved that he enjoys doing the hard yards and will benefit from running up the middle.
Blake Parker showed plenty of ticker running the ball into the much bigger opposition and Tristan Steele showed when he wants to can mix it with the rest of them taking a couple of hit-ups in the middle.
On Saturday, the Boorowa Harden Junior Rugby League fraternity are off to Wagga Wagga for round 3 action.
