Every child who participates will go into the draw to win one of the major prizes for their age group including (four to six years), (seven to nine years) and (10-12 years). Prizes include a Lenovo tablet, Big Nate books and an Aussie Picture Book Pack.
Harden Librarian Sharon Hawkins said she was looking forward to seeing lots of children get involved with the program over the summer.
“There is a lot to be gained from signing up to the program and it is important to keep our children in the habit of reading even though they are on holidays. They stay in practice that way.”
“So I encourage all familiar and not so familiar faces to come down, enrol and be a part of a wonderful program which well and truly promotes reading which gives knowledge”, she said.
