NSW Rural Fire Service is advising suspension of all farm machinery activities in the Harden district due to a very high fire danger rating.

“We recommend you consider suspension of all header and farm machinery activities from 12pm until an improvement in current weather conditions,” operations officer David Nicholson said.
The recommendation applies to the South West Slopes zone, including Cootamundra, Harden and Young.
Harden is expected to reach a top of 39 degrees by 3pm today.
Harden is currently experiencing North/North Westerly winds of 25 to 35 kilometres per hour, and expecting West/South Westerly winds of 35 to 50 kilometres per hour in the afternoon.
There are currently five fires burning in NSW.
