More than 50 teams entered from across the state, including a strong number of local sides from the Harden and Jugiong Polocrosse Clubs.
Visitors came from the Southern Highlands and the Tumut area, among others.
The racecourse looked in top nick as rides strutted their stuff, showcasing the sport to the best advantage.
While pool games were played on Saturday, teams got to the business of finals on Sunday.
A grade winners were Jugiong, getting the job done over a very handy side in Lake George.
The Peter Beale Memorial Award for Best and Fairest in the A grade final went to Jugiong’s Dean Bourlet.
In other results, Jugiong also won the A Mixed division against a ‘Skill Set’ side made up of pool players including local veteran Kevin Bradford.
A reserve winners were Yass over Jugiong.
B grade junior boys winners were the Southern Highlands, over Lake George
In C grade junior girls the Southern Highlands were once again successful, this time over their near-neighbour rivals of Moss Vale.
The presentation of the Col and Maree Reid Award for Harden’s Most Improved Junior is an honour for any young player to win and this year belonged to Jake Varena.
While Harden only hosts one event each year on home turf, they showed on Saturday, they do it as well as anyone out there.
The annual carnival is also a good fundraiser for the club with volunteers from within the club operating the canteen across the weekend.
A great job was done by those in the canteen and operating the barbecue.
While teams pay to enter the carnival, it was free for spectators to come and go as they please, with a contingent of parents, partners and teammates cheering the sides on during most games.
The region will not be without polocrosse in the coming weeks with the Jugiong club set to host their Jugiong Polocrosse Carnival on Saturday and Sunday, July 11 and 12.
Meanwhile, the following weekend, July 18, they will get to showcase their grounds and skills to some of the best polocrosse players from the region in the Zone Polocrosse Carnival.
