With works occurring in the centre of the street and mid block, a full street closure to through traffic will remain in place.
The next week will also see line work painting of parking bays and centre lines on East Street,
Albury Street to Whitton Lane Railway, to complete the works. It is anticipated that there will be temporary loss of parking while this work is carried out.
The speed limit through and about the street works is reduced to 40 kilometres per hour and the council seeks the assistance of motorists and pedestrians in strictly adhering to signage and directions given by traffic control signage, for the safety of motorists, pedestrians and employees.
Council thanks the community for their patience during these works.
