The Hawks had an early bye last weekend following their memorable opening round win over Yass.
Their opponents meanwhile lost convincingly to Bungendore in round one but came back into form last weekend, beating Boomanulla Raiders 36-10.
Club president Jason Pollard said it will be a good game and is confident for another Hawks win.
Pollard also coaches the Hawkettes, who will be eager for a win in their rematch against the Crookwell She Devils.
The Hawkettes travelled to Crookwell last Sunday with a squad of 13 rather than their usual 20, which was reflected in the 28-10 loss.
There was just four points in it at half-time but two quick Crookwell tries after the interval and another at the end of the game made for a flattering scoreline.
“To our girls credit they stuck at it, and they were competitive for most of the game,” Pollard said.
“We were missing some key players but Crookwell played well, they are a handy side.”
Jess Doolan was joined by try scorers Georgia Smith and Molly Fredericks in the best player points, whilst stand-in kicker Paige Potts did well to kick one from two goals.
Get along to McLean Oval this Saturday from 2pm to support the Hawkettes, followed by the Hawks at 3pm.
