The games will complete another very successful season with 29 teams playing throughout the year for the 10 spots which have now been filled by the best two in each grade.

Also on the agenda for the night is the sprint races of which will reward the fastest male, female, junior and senior sprinters in Harden, thanks to generous sponsorship from Coopers Butchery, Twin Town Times and Harden Touch. The two major races male/female have $100 up for grabs, so worth a run.

The editor gave Zorro’s crystal ball a good rub over the weekend and came up with the following grand final predictions.

E Grade (6pm) - The Originals vs Slow Motion. Can the Martin boys keep a cool head to lead their team to victory over the fast improving emergency services group? Slow Motion to win.

D Grade (6pm) - The Carrington vs Electric Herefords. The Quinn descendants have been having family meetings in readiness to deal with the prepared  cattle prodders. The Carrington will be too strong

C Grade (6.35pm) - Electric Septics vs Maddens Cold Store. Paul Shea has recently returned from Bronco territory as he rallies his squad to deal with the much younger Maddens squad who have been preparing in the cool room in Murrumburrah. Too much speed and experience amongst the E/Septics. 

B Grade  (6.35pm) - Delta vs GTH Hornets. Delta looking to go back to back – rumour has it that hornets are low on troops so that could see the result favourable to Delta. Delta to make it a double

A Grade (7.10pm) - Twin Town Light Horsemen vs Hotel Binalong Boozers. The pub duel – which drinking establishment will have bragging rights come 8pm on Thursday night? Hotel Binalong Boozers in a close one.

Sprinters 

Females – will it be a battle of the Emma’s again for the ladies title, or will one of the Binalong speedsters surprise?

Males – the crystal ball has ‘Manwaring’ written all over, it but can Tyler Allen run them down? 

Juniors – anyone’s title.

Seniors – Harvey Jones to run down Phil Robinson on the line with Craig Henman dragging his hamstring across the line in a close third.

Following the rugby union trials held Wednesday, March 18, Murrumburrah High School’s Lane Gaudie and Johno Davis have been selected in the 2015 Riverina Rugby Union team.

The boys will now compete at the State Championships in Wagga from May 6 to 8. 

Harden Soccer Club online registrations are now available for players aged five to 15 years.

If you wish to play soccer this year online registration needs to be completed by next Tuesday, March 31.
