The award dinner was held on Saturday night and proved highly successful with more than 100 people attending.
Jenny and Gino Polimeni started Gino’s Fruit & Veg eight years ago and in that time have built a loyal following of customers throughout the districts.
Jenny Polimeni said that the Harden Shire’s motto of ‘Opportunity Awaits’, seemed very appropriate to her as the way their business has grown and developed over the years showed what can be achieved through hard work.
Gino’s success lies in the business’ commitment to personal service and their home delivery service, not to mention quality fruit and vegetables.
Jenny said that in eight years Gino has never missed a trip to the Sydney markets early on a Tuesday morning to bring home quality produce.
Today they deliver fruit and vegetables to customers in seven district towns, travelling up to 1,000 kilometres a week.
Jenny said it felt good to have their business recognised and thanked the Chamber of Commerce for the award.
