THE Harden Shire Council has received another request for a skate park to be built in town.
The council received the letter requesting a skate park be built from a nine-year-old resident.
The letter’s author said that he would be prepared to run a fundraiser for the skate park if the council did not have enough money to build it.
Council received a similar request when it sought public comment on its 2012/2013 management plan recently.
A council spokesman said that if the idea was to proceed it would need a ‘local champion’ to progress the issue. The matter was placed on the agenda for last night’s council meeting.
