FIVE students from Murrumburrah Public School displayed their public speaking skills at the Rotary meeting held at the Terracotta Restaurant on Monday night.
Students from Years 3 to 6 spoke on the topics of ‘Multiculturalism’ and ‘What Australia means to me.’ The students were the school finalists who presented their speeches at the District Public Speaking Finals held recently in Temora. Murrumburrah Public School public speaking coordinator Ms Bronywn O’Connor organised the Rotary event.
Both the students and the audience thoroughly enjoyed the experience with Rotarians impressed with the quality of speeches and confidence shown by the students.
We look forward Murrumburrah Public School students participating in future events both in the local and wider community.
