JUGIONG’S Stephanie Field has been named as one of eight state finalists in the Girlfriend Rimmel Model Search.
Stephanie was one of 450 teenagers who took part in the model search on the weekend in Sydney.
“Once again this year, New South Wales displayed a high calibre of talent at the Girlfriend Rimmel Model Search. We were impressed with the diverse looks and levels of confidence showcased by the eight finalists,” Sarah Tarca, editor of Girlfriend, said.
“As a judge, it was extremely difficult to select only eight finalists from the hundreds of fantastic girls we personally met. The Girlfriend team is excited to help kick-start the modelling careers of these girls, and we congratulate them for coming this far in the competition,” she added.
Australia’s most prestigious and longest-running modelling competition, the Girlfriend Rimmel Model Search has launched the careers of many of Australia’s most recognisable faces, including Alyssa Sutherland, Samantha Harris, Catherine McNeil, Pania Rose, Sarah Stephens and Abbey Lee Kershaw.
From here, six national finalists will be selected in September, and the overall national finalist will be announced at an event in Sydney in November.
The overall winner of the 2012 Girlfriend Rimmel Model Search will receive a two-year contract with Chic Management and an opportunity to meet Next Model Management in New York, an all-expenses-paid trip to Sydney for the finalists’ fashion shoot, an appearance in two fashion shoots for Girlfriend magazine and a one-year supply of Rimmel London products.
Stephanie is currently holidaying overseas.
