A JUDGE in Santa Monica, California has ordered a former friend of O.J. Simpson to turn over the ex-National Football League star's Pro Football Hall of Fame ring to help satisfy a $US33.5million ($51million) civil court judgment in a wrongful death lawsuit.
Judge Gerald Rosenberg has ordered memorabilia dealer Alfred Beardsley to turn over the ring within a week. Mr Beardsley, a victim in the robbery that landed Simpson in prison, denies having the ring.
Fred Goldman, father of Ron Goldman who was stabbed to death along with Simpson's ex-wife in 1994, is demanding the ring.
