WHEN Georgie Campbell returns to Harden each summer she heads to the pool to start her swimming classes.

Georgie, who works in the fitness industry in Canberra, has been teaching children how to swim for seven years. She mainly works with children under five years.

Georgie gives the learners two weeks of intensive instruction in her parent’s heated pool, which she says the children really enjoy as it is like swimming in a bath.

“I just feel it is really important that children lean to swim and it is very rewarding,” she said.
