HAWKS NOW TOP OF THE TABLE
22 Jul 10 | The Harden Hawks played Goulburn Exchange last Saturday at McLean Oval and had a 32-10 victory. The Hawks now lead the table after Binalong’s narrow loss to Bungendore.

08 Jul 10 | The Harden Hawks played the Binalong Brahmans last Saturday at McLean Oval and had a 24-16 victory. The Binalong Brahmans started well and crossed for an early converted try.
Hard fought win
13 May 10 | Last Saturday at McLean oval, the Harden Hawks played Goulburn Exchange and had a hard fought 32-22 victory. The Hawks did not start well conceding a penalty from the kick off.
CONVINCING WIN FOR HAWKS
29 Apr 10 | Last Saturday at McLean Oval, the Harden Hawks played the Braidwood Bears and had a convincing 26-8 victory. Up against by far the strongest opposition this year, the young Hawks took up the challenge and with relentless defence and good attacking play, proved too good for the bears.
Setting sights on a big year
04 Feb 10 | Harden Junior Rugby League held their first meeting for the 2010 season on Monday night at the Royal Hotel. Registrations for the coming season will be taken on two sign on days, the first on Thursday February 25 at Roberts Park during touch football from 6pm. The second will be on Saturday March 6, between 9am and 12pm outside the post office.

22 Oct 09 | RUGBY league fans were treated to two days of vintage footy over the weekend when Young hosted its first ever Masters Carnival.
Under 10’s Hawks Grand Final victory
10 Sep 09 | The Hawks travelled to Nixon Park to contest the Grand Final for 2009, against a well drilled and hungry Tumut Blues outfit. Whilst the quality of the game wasn’t up to the usual standard, the excitement and nail biting factors were there in force, with every parent and the coaching staff on the edge of their seats as the Hawks left their run for victory to the very last minute of the game.
Hawks battle with Bears
04 Sep 09 | The Harden Hawks played third placed Braidwood Bears at McLean Oval last Saturday and had a good 26-12 victory. Both sides started well but the Hawks were the first to score after five minutes when Jason Pollard received a good pass from Luke Brown which was converted by Abed Atallah.
Hawks fling Highlanders
13 Aug 09 | Last Saturday the Harden Hawks had a resounding victory over last placed Gordon Highlanders 72-0. The Highlanders tried hard but were no match for the Hawks who had improved greatly on their previous performance.

06 Aug 09 | Two Boys from Murrumburrah Public School have been selected for the NSW Open Primary Schools Rugby League Team.
Hawks too classy for Green Devils
02 Jul 09 | Last Saturday, the Hawks played the Crookwell Green Devils at McLean Oval and had a resounding 58-0 victory. Matthew Stewart drew first blood with the first try in the fifth minute which was unconverted, from that point on the Hawks never looked back. After an excellent backing movement, Andrew Jones scored next in the corner which was also unconverted from a difficult kick.
Hawks ensure no picnic for the Bears
25 Jun 09 | The Harden Hawks travelled to Braidwood last Saturday to take on second place Braidwood and came away with a very impressive 46-12 victory. The day started on a high note with the boys on the bus participating in a photo shoot with for the Women in League promotion. And the day just kept getting better.
Hawks too good for Highlanders
18 Jun 09 | In a totally one-sided game, the Harden Hawks completely outclassed the Gordon Highlanders last Sunday in Goulburn, 104-0. Going from the score you would have thought they had switched to AFL for the day! Coach, Jason Pollard, rested himself and was able to observe as his team put on a stellar performance against the hapless Highlanders.
Hawks outclass Boomanulla
04 Jun 09 | In an entertaining and at times bruising game of rugby league last Saturday at McLean Oval, the Harden Hawks defeated Boomanulla 46-0. The Hawks started well and three minutes into the game, the end of a great back line movement saw Graham Murray score a try which was converted by Abed Atallah. The Hawks continued to apply the pressure and in the seventh minute, Atallah took a great pass to score a try which was unconverted.
Hawks swoop on Brahmans
07 May 09 | Harden Murrumburrah was buzzing with footy fever last Saturday on a perfect autumn day which saw the Harden Hawks defeat the South West Brahmans 28-10. Like the good old days, McLean Oval was bursting at the seams for a full day of football starting with Junior League. This is a first for the HM Football Club and both committees worked well together and were very pleased with the result. The gate takings alone were approx $2500 for the Senior League.
A great experience for young whistle blowers
30 Apr 09 | Junior referees, Jacob Prosser and Joshua Quinn had the opportunity of a lifetime when they travelled to Sydney with theirs dads and Country Rugby League Development Officer for the Southern State of NSW, Pat Walsh for a referee training session with some of the big names in the world of NRL referrers.
Hawks swoop on Tigers
23 Apr 09 | It was an exciting opener for the Rugby League season last Saturday, when the Harden Hawks tackled last year’s premiers, the Bungendore Tigers at McLean Oval, Harden. Both sides started at a frantic pace with Bungendore scoring first to take an early 4 nil lead. The Hawks soon hit back with converted tries to Matt Stewart and Graham Moorby for the Hawks to lead 12-4.
